The Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) program started taking applications on May 22, 2020, from families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals who did not receive their P-EBT card in the mail.
These families must apply before June 30, 2020 to receive the extra food benefit during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program helps families buy food due to the school closures during the health emergency.
